Elder Futhark runic script typeface

Work in progress of an Elder Futhark (ancient Norse script) typeface, along with initial annotated sketches.
Although some kinds of runes were committed to paper, Elder Futhark runes are mostly present in stone or metal engravings, giving them mono-linear look. My take is not to create a true revival, but to put some manual work in the glyphs, giving them more contrast, while still keeping faithful to the original glyphs.
There are currently no plans for accompanying Latin. The Unicode Standard for Runic script can be found here.
